Privacy policy
Information pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
In compliance with the General Regulation on Data Protection (EU) 2016/679 – “GDPR”, and in particular pursuant to art. 13, we provide the necessary information regarding the processing of personal data provided. The information is not to be considered valid for other websites that may be consulted through links on the owner’s domain website, which therefore is not to be considered in any way responsible for the websites of third parties.
The information is also inspired by Recommendation no. 2/2001 that the European authorities for the protection of personal data, gathered in the Group established by the art. 29 della direttiva n. 95/46/CE adopted on 17 May 2001 to identify certain minimum requirements for the collection of personal data online and, in particular, the manner, timing and nature of the information that data controllers must provide users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purpose of the connection, as well as the provisions of Directive 2002/58/EC, as updated by Directive 2009/136/EC, on Cookies.
Personal data (art. 4 GDPR): any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); an identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, with particular reference to an identifier such as name, identification number, location data, online identifier or one or more elements that are characteristic of his/her physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity; (C26, C27, C30).

Your data will also be processed by companies contractually bound to the Data Controller, which may act as data processors appointed pursuant to art. 28 of EU Regulation 2016/679 or as autonomous data controllers, for the pursuit of the purposes indicated above, and in particular a:
-subjects that provide services for the management of the computer system used by the Owner and telecommunications networks (including e-mail, website, site hosting);
-professionals, studios or companies in the context of assistance and consulting relationships;
-authorities competent to comply with legal obligations and/or provisions of public bodies, upon request.
The list of data processors is constantly updated and available at the offices of the Data Controller.
Data transfer to a third country and/or an international organization
The personal data provided will be transferred outside the European Union, in accordance with the guarantees provided by Articles 44 ff. of EU Reg. 2016/679. For further information regarding the transfer of personal data, please contact the Data Controller at the above mentioned contacts.
Rights of the data subject | Complaint Control Authority
You may assert your rights as expressed in Articles 15 ff. of EU Regulation 2016/679 by contacting the DATA CONTROLLER by sending an email to info@lakecottage.it. You have the right, at any time, to ask the Data Controller for access to your personal data, its correction, deletion or limitation.
Furthermore, in the cases provided for, you have the right to object, at any time, to the processing of your data.
Without prejudice to any other administrative and judicial recourse, if you consider that the processing of data concerning you violates the provisions of EU Reg. 2016/679, pursuant to art. 15 letter f) of the aforementioned EU Reg. 2016/679, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor for the protection of personal data (https://www.garanteprivacy.it/).
Modification of the Privacy Policy
The owner reserves the right to change, update, add or remove portions of this privacy policy at its sole discretion and at any time. In order to facilitate such verification, this policy will contain an indication of the date of update.
